Learning Goals Accordion

Social Innovation Lab participants learn Design Thinking while building foundational digital skills and exploring topics such as artificial intelligence, data and algorithms, cybersecurity, and social entrepreneurship. They also develop and test ideas, create prototypes, and design sustainable solutions using tools like the Business Model Canvas.The program concludes with teams pitching their solutions, strengthening their collaboration, innovation, and communication skills.

Preparation Accordion

Module 1: Empathize & Define

Get to know one another, explore all aspects of a problem and possible AI-supported solutions, create a problems list, and finally, learn about the first two phases of Design Thinking: Empathize and Define.

Module 2: Ideate and Careers in Tech & Behind Your Feed Workshop: Data, Ads, and Influencers

Discover Phase 3 of Design Thinking: Ideate. Explore careers in tech. Examine the impact of data, ads, and influencers in shaping our choices.

Module 3: Prototype & Test

Learn about Phases 4 and 5 of Design Thinking: Prototype and Test (Analog & Digital). Visualize solutions into prototypes and share models with others to iterate (improve upon) product/service ideas.

Module 4: Value Propositions, Business Model Canvas, Cybersecurity & Pitch Preparation
