Breaking Into the Digital Economy

An icon set showing a dark blue globe with land masses in teal and burnt orange. To the left is a megaphone with sound waves coming out of it. Above and to the left of the globe is a circular logo with 17 different colored sections, representing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. To the right of the globe is a silver laptop with a teal screen.

Each year, Digital Moment’s Digital2030 program introduces a new Challenge aligned with specific Sustainable Development Goals, inviting youth to reflect critically on actions for a more sustainable future while exploring ethical ways to use technology.

This Challenge invites YOUTH (13-22) to consider how we can people in developing economies can transition into the digital economy.

This Challenge will focus on:

  • SDG 1: No Poverty
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • SDG 16: Peace Justice and Strong Institutions
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

The digital economy connects us to opportunities around the world, which makes it easier than ever to access information and connect to new types of work.
